JCI Keskuspuisto is organising a workshop series on creativity together with coach Oana Velcu-Laitinen from Velcu Oy. Themes of the three workshops are: Your creative spirit, Authentic creativity and Inspired everyday.
By taking part in this series of 3 workshops, you may gain valuable insights into how to improve your creative thinking in order to enhance the satisfaction in some areas of your life.
“Some people argue that studying creativity is an elite distraction from the most pressing problems confronting us. We should focus all our energies on combating overpopulation, poverty … A concern for creativity is an unnecessary luxury, according to this argument. But this position is somewhat shortsighted…workable new solutions to poverty or overpopulation will not appear magically by themselves. Problems are solved only when we devote a great deal of attention to them and in a creative way.”
Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, Creativity, the psychology of discovery and invention

Each of the 3 workshops lasts for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Each workshop is a combination of lecturing, group coaching and group exercises. To get a deeper understanding on how your personal creativity can make your life more interesting, it is recommended to attend all the 3 workshops.
