We act in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and through our activities we are a part of the European community of Junior Chambers of Commerce.
The members of Central Park Junior Chamber are a aprt of anactive network that aims to have a positive effect on the society. Together with the Helsinki social authorities, other organisations and private persons we gather presents for the not-so-well-of -children of the City. In co-operation with the Cultural Office of Helsinki we strive to build our city even more attractive for entrepreneurs, inhabitants and visitors. The collaboration extends to Embassies and the political leaders, however, in accordance of the non-political principal of the organisation.

Entrepreneurship is close to the hearts of the members of JCI. One third of the members work as partners or entrepreneurs. Therefore, it is natural that Central Park Junior Chamber has a seat in the Board of the HUP (organisation for the new businesses in Helsinki). We also co-operate with FinPro ( consulting organisation that accelerates the internationalisation of the Finnish companies and reduces their risks in doing so) and many educational institutes.

JUNIOR CHAMBER

Everybody has their own reason to be a member of the JC-organisation. Some of the most common reasons probably include the desire to create a unique network for both business social life, educate oneself, do something socially remarkable, find ways for internationalization and - for some - get involved in great parties among the members. Many have found the membership of JCI a natural way to get to know people in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.

JCI (Junior Chamber International) is a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs with almost 300,000 active JCI members and millions of JCI alumni. JCI members contribute to the advancement of the global community by creating positive changes in approximately 6,000 communities in more than 100 nations worldwide.

JCI's mission is to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, entrepreneurship and fellowship necessary to create positive change.
